Annual Wigilia Dinner

For more than 20 years, our society in December has organized authentic Wigilia dinner, which is the supper celebrated in Poland on Christmas Eve that excludes meat.  In addition to the homemade courses that are served at the dinner, we include a program that explains the traditions of Wigilia and the sounds of Koledy,

Wigilia 2022

We are having this year's Wigilia on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the West Leonard Banquet Facility, 1140 Muskegon Ave. NW, with Laura Szczepanek of That Polish Girl Catering LLC as our chef.  


RESERVATION DEADLINE: Dec. 1, 2022

Wigilia is a 7-course dinner that includes:

  • Oplatak
  • Rye bread with horseradish butter;
  • Herring
  • Soup
  • Lemon-Parsley Baked Cod 
  • Noodles and Cabbage
  • Delectable Desserts
  • Coffee served throughout/Wine served with fish course


Social hour is 5-6 p.m.

The Polish Koledy features Jarek Kozal and Nick Palmer
